Purpose Target It is to be judged with this test whether the color impression corresponds with the specification sample. 2. Description of the procedure Testing sets Color-tester with software Execution The test board must be cleaned before the measurement with a soft cloth. With powder coatings for the color evaluation a non-chromated aluminum plate is used. As QC - function menu option 2 is selected the routine color difference . As measuring requirements gr. screen is selected with gloss point 1 or kl. screen with gloss. Now the required standard from the measuring data file is read in or again measured. As sample designation are inputs Product number and batch number. After the creation of the test board to the measuring opening an individual measuring is released. After the measurement the test board is checked visually under a daylight-lamp for possible rough discrepancies between color measurement and visual feeling. Analysis After the measurement the option 1 next is selected and read off the evaluation of the color measuring computer. Documentation The results of measurement are documented by printout of the data option 2 . This printout is attached to the manufacturing prescription.
