Outline Test standard DIN 50 018 SFW Inspection devices climatic exposure test cabinet record sheets Explanation This test checks stability of front lacquers to SO2. 2. Work instruction Internal check - Aqualac Different substrates are coated with Aqualac and loaded in the climatic cabinet up to 20 rounds under addition of 2 litres sulfur dioxide. Internal check - powder coating Chromated powder-coated QU-v of test sheet metals is loaded in the climatic cabinet up to 20 rounds under addition of 2 litres sulphur dioxide. External check - powder coating This check is checked only in the course of the annual rehollow check over the GSB -permission. In alteration of the check thereby a cycle is used by 30 rounds under addition of 0 2 litres of SO2. Requirements request powder coating No substantial color modification may occur after the termination of the check. The surface must be free of blisters. Water lacker Is determined at the prescription. Check execution for internal check The adjustment of the device has to take place according to DIN 50018 SFW. The operation of the device has to take place after the created operating instruction. Before beginning of the check on the test card an appropriate strip as reference sample is cut off and added to the paragraph.
