Avoid undue pressure. 5. When requesting help try to praise people in advance. People tend to do what is expected of them. If you treat them as if they can t do much they may not be inclined to try very hard. If they realize that you re expecting a great deal of them they may try to live up to your expectations. 6. Be friendly. Be pleasant agreeable and tactful in your dealings with others. Try to demonstrate a genuine liking for people. 7. Maintain emotional maturity.
