Ninh Thuan Thuan Bac Farm 22 - Mr Le Van Hoa This farmer has exceeded all expectations with the outcome of his enterprise he has established a wide selection of pastures for feeding and is experimenting with silage making His goat numbers have increased significantly and his new Boer buck appears to be meeting all his expectations. This farm is used as a demonstration farm for workshops and its productive outcomes will become clear when the survey results are compiled. Dr Mui has encouraged him to plant the new variety of Elephant grass P. purpureum CV VO5 . Mr Hoa s new Boer buck Mr Hoa chopping grass for silage Farm 21 - Mr Nong Quoc Hung This farm is close to Mr Hoa and he chose a Saanen buck to start breeding milk producing goats. His herd has also grown rapidly and has proved to be another successful farmer in the project. Twins crossbred kids to Saanen buck Also planting new variety of Elephant grass Farm 23 - Mr Tran Tuan Hai Mr Hai struggled to meet his obligations to the project last year due to an illness in his family and the land he has is poorly drained salted and not very productive. However some pasture and Leucaena survives and his goats are healthy and productive. With more labour he may have performed better tha he has but there is no doubt that the Project has made a significant contribution to his well-being over the past two years.
