The flooding that later resulted in the accumulation of sediment in the downstream region and reservoir area this was related to the condition of the forest in the upper part of the base. The method carried out in this study was an observational description method namely conducting research or observing symptoms and factors to obtain data as a foundation in presenting in accordance with the intent and purpose. While the operational actions include the stages of collecting data both primary data and secondary data for primary data collection data by purposive sampling. Based on the field data analysis there are 109 terrain units with the following conclusions The research area has various types of land criticality classes including very critical ha critical ha semi-critical ha and a critical potential of ha . With these conditions it is necessary to carry out efforts to conserve and rehabilitate the land which is adjusted to the results of analysis and existing land use. Based on the analysis results obtained as follows ha one seasonl crop cultivation area annual crop cultivation area ha buffer zone ha protected .
