Key processes and functionalities are validated to identify the potential risks and constraints to the implementation. It is essential that all organizational units which will be affected by the implementation project participate in this task to avoid resistance against the necessary changes. In this phase the details of the proposed solution are defined and software templates developed, if project plan is refined and a detailed description of the work packages necessary to complete the project is prepared. In the execution and deployment phase the key components of the detailed solution are constructed, tested and documented. This includes software development and customization, implementation of best practice processes and user training. The template designed in the solution details phase is enhanced to include specific organizational requirements and eventually rolled out to the different sites.
