Scope This test method covers obtaining preparing and testing 1 cores drilled from concrete for length or compressive strength or splitting tensile strength determinations and 2 beams sawed from concrete for flexural sUcngth delaminations. The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI units shall be regarded separately as standard. SI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents therefore each system must be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard. The text of this standard references notes and footnotes that provide explanatory material. These notes and footnotes excluding those in tables and gures shall not be considered as requirements of the standard.
