Stephen Clift is Professor of Health Education in the Faculty of Health, Canter- bury Christ Church University in Canterbury, United Kingdom. He has made contributions to health education and promotion in HIV and AIDS and sex education for young people and international travel and tourism. His current interests are focused on the contributions of the arts and music to health care and health promotion. He is a founder of the Sidney de Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health. The expectation of the curriculum is that students will achieve the Outcomes as detailed in the curriculum document. The Learning and Teaching Suggestions and Appendices that support the Outcomes provide options from which the teacher may select. As with delivery of all provincial curricula teachers will exercise professional judgement in the selection of learning activities and tailor them to the needs of their students.
