Its structure includes A seven-member board that is appointed by the government and reports directly to the Solicitor General and Minister of Public Security. The Board approves gaming and liquor policy to ensure Alberta s gaming and liquor industries are well regulated and managed on behalf of the people of the province. The Board ensures the powers and duties of the AGLC are appropriately carried out through the Chief Executive Officer.
