Why did you go to Germany Don I study history and German. I wanted to improve my German and learn more about the culture of Germany. Student 2 Where did you live Don I stayed with a wonderful host family. They lived very close to the university. From the beginning I felt like I was their son. Student 1 Did you have problems speaking with them Don At first it was hard. My host family spoke a little English but many of the students at the university spoke only German. Everyone spoke very fast. It was hard to understand but it got easier. I made many German friends. Now we e-mail each other in German every week. My German is great. Student 3 Did you have time to travel Don Yes I did I traveled all around Germany. I also visited Belgium France and the Czech Republic. Student 2 I m so excited about studying abroad.
