Search strategies were developed with PubMed using Medical Subject Heading [MeSH] and title abstract [tiab] terms to identify relevant exposures (organic vs. conventional production methods) and outcomes (composition of nutrient and other substances). The exposure terms searched (including all MeSH, headings, subheadings and tiab terms) were “organic”, “health food”, “conventional” combined with “food”, “agricultural crop”, “livestock”, “agriculture”. These were combined with a list of outcome terms for nutrients and other substances (see Appendix 1), modified from the World Cancer Research Fund specification manual (14). . | OrganicsBrazil Brazilian Organic and Sustainable Producers Organic Brazil is the brand name of a sectorial program developed by a public private partnership leaded by IPD Development Promotion Institute and Apex-Brasil Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency that is supporting and marketing organic producers and local enterprises that bring to the market products from all regions and biomes of Brazil Amazon Caatinga Cerrado Atlantic Forest Pantanal and Pampa. In these regions Brazilian entrepreneurship are making a wide range of products from the raw materials for the food and cosmetic industry to package and branded products in more than fifty categories of Food Cosmetic Beverage Ingredients and Textile all of them organics and sustainable certified with the highest international standards. Being organic environmental sustainable and with good patterns of quality are pre conditions for the producers in this program but what really matters from a trade perspective is also that the products you can find here are made with the biomes characteristic. It means that the world can be provided not only with good organic sustainable products but with the most varied types of soils climates altitudes ethnic and cultural diversity from Brazil. Many of them are unique Brazilian Products with ingredients from these biomes and all of them are profoundly marked by the exuberant nature of Brazil.
