TAILIEUCHUNG - Evaluation of in-situ moisture conservation practices for sustainable productivity of major crops in Vidarbha region

Water stress periods are common in rainfed agriculture therefore the activities aimed at conserving the rainwater should be adopted for improving the productivity of dryland crops. The major crops in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra are cotton, soybean and sorghum. It was observed that the drought situation may arise during crop growth period which may result in partial failure of crops.
