Mental wellbeing is one of the most critical facets of human actions that can affect one s emotional intelligence and self-concept. Self- concept and emotional intelligence are essential aspects of individual mental wellbeing. Goldman 1995 opined emotional intelligence is another dimension of knowledge which is more effective than rational intelligence in people achieving achievement in different areas of life. From a psychological point of view emotional intelligence is the capacity to correctly interpret your and other emotions to recognize the messages that emotions convey regarding relationships and control your and others emotions.
