At this point in our industry’s evolution, it’s important to have government involvement. Incumbent technologies, such as internal combustion engines for transportation and the electrical power grid, have a huge head start and, in many cases, the rules of the game are written to support their continuation. Our society is comfortable with these technologies and has depended on them for many generations.
