As an initial step in this process the carrier wanted to test the accuracy of its asset-management system. The carrier turned to ADC to develop a model network and inventory audit to determine the scope of any discrepancies. CASE STUDY ADC SOLUTION As a first step an ADC audit team worked with the customer to create a sample audit. This consisted of identifying five representative DSX-1 bays and validating the asset-management database against the actual on-site DSX connections and equipment location and status.
