Improving students’ problem solving skills is one of the most important goals of mathematics education. However, the problem solving method in textbooks may be one of the reasons which cause difficulties for students, for instance, the situation of the problem ”find x”. Pourtant, la méthode de résolution de problème proposée dans les manuels peut être une des raisons qui cause les difficultés des élèves du primaire, par exemple, le cas du problème « trouver x ». Dans cet article, nous enquêtons sur les difficultés des élèves du primaire en résolvant le problème « trouver x » et quelques solutions proposées par les instituteurs pour aider leurs élèves. Tuy nhiên, một số phương pháp giải toán trong sách giáo khoa có thể là một trong những nguyên nhân gây ra những khó khăn cho học sinh; ví dụ như trong bài toán “tìm x ”.
