TAILIEUCHUNG - The research: An investigation into the impact of extrinsic motivation on the process of learning English of students at some high schools in Hue

The research “An investigation into the impact of extrinsic motivation on the process of learning English of students at some high schools in Hue” is performed with an eye to providing high school teachers and students with a deep, comprehensible view of the role as well as the positive and negative effects of extrinsic motivation on the process of learning English of high school students. | However, due to educational facilities limit such as way of inappropriate design of desks and chairs, insufficiently bright lights, windows, so on restrict the students’ activities. Because of this, as collected, analyzed results above , this is a just major cause that results in teachers’ obstacles in organizing cooperative activities and students’ difficulties in participating in this kind of activity. As far as I’m concerned, most classes are equipped with inflexible, long bench and long chairs, so it is not easy for students to turn back and gather together for solving tasks in groups. Furthermore, movement of chairs and desks are so hard and make much noise, which makes disrupt the order of class. Additionally, the deficiency of teaching equipment typically projector produces tedious classes. Using projector appropriately, reasonably supports teachers in English classes well owing to the fact that teachers’ talk will be reduced considerably, which is very beneficial to their health. Also, slides are colorful, impressive together with the motion of pictures and joyful songs attract students’ attention and stimulate their involvement in English classes. Other usefulness of using projector is that it is much easier for teachers to design and organize various games for students in English classes.
