HARNESSING KNOWLEDGE TO PREVENT CRIME In 2008 the Big Cities Mayors Caucus of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities FCM called on the Government of Canada to match dollar for dollar increased funding for law enforcement with sustained investment in targeted services that prevent crime.
