The last RAPRA Report on Polymers in Aerospace Applications (. Wright, Report 37) was published in 1990. The present report strives to provide a contemporary review of this area with an emphasis on the literature appearing after 1990. It includes coverage of new materials and technologies (particularly nanocomposites). The principal use for polymers in aerospace applications is as a matrix material and/or reinforcing bre for composites.
