Identification of the key production constraints and provision environmentallysound options for agricultural resource management is necessary to increase vegetable production in peri-urban farming communities. The data were collected from a sample of 120 respondents of Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh state and Faridabad district of Haryana stateto analyze the various constraints faced by the farmers of peri urban agriculture. Garrett Ranking technique was used to rank the constraints faced in peri-urban vegetable cultivation. |
