TAILIEUCHUNG - Combined experimental ozone and probiotics in tiger prawn (Penaeus monodon) larvae rearing

There were four experimental groups which were treated at 2 days intervals as follows: without Bio-clear (control treatment), 5 ml/m3 Bio-clear (treatment 2 - N5); 10 ml/m3 Bio-clear (treatment 3 – N10); 15 ml/m3 Bio-clear (treatment 4 - N15)The results showed that the water quality improved, healthy larvae, grow and thrive, higher survival rate when probiotics was not applied. The highest survival rate is in N15 treatment (47,89%) and lowest is in the control treatment (27,23%). Besides, the length and weight of PL12 are also the highest in this treatment (11,5 ± 0,06 mm; 1,19 ± 0,05 mg/100 PL12); significant difference (p 0,05). After 21 days rearing, postlarvae develop differences to the control treatment (10,6 ± to PL12 stage and survival rate was the lowest 0,06 mm). This result is also higher than the in the control treatment (27,23 ± 2,50%), results of the PL12 length (10,15 ± 0,08 mm) statistically significant difference (p <0,05) when only using ozone in period rearing (Diep compared with N15 treatment (47,89 ± 3,35%).
