Here we choose whether or not we would like the items sorted by priority if not they appear in the order entered . We can also opt to have priorities listed next to each item. Figure 12-5. Select application preferences A couple of thoughts if you look back at Figure 12-1 on the right you ll notice that priorities are shown as integers. However if you look at Figure 12-4 you ll see that priority selection is done using a text string. I found it much more intuitive to enter priorities by selecting from options that closely match how I think. That is this must be done today that can wait until tomorrow and so forth. When I write a todo list on paper and pencil I generally list them from most important to least. And no I don t assign them numbers but it generally works out to the same as shown here. That is most important on top least important at the bottom.
