TAILIEUCHUNG - Productivity enhancement of Toria through frontline demonstration in Gajapati district of Odisha, India
The field study was carried out by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gajapati to assess the yield gap of toria (Brassica campestris var. toria) through frontline demonstration in north eastern ghat region of Odisha. Toria is most important oilseeds crop after harvest of kharif rice in rainfed areas of Gajapati. Productivity of the crop is lower in farmer’s field due to several constraints. Non-adoption of improved technologies is one of the major causes for its lower productivity. Frontline demonstrations on improved technologies were conducted at 125framers’ fields of Gajapati district in four clusters during rabi season of 2019-20. | Productivity enhancement of Toria through frontline demonstration in Gajapati district of Odisha India
