Subjects and Methods Neonates were admitted to NICU according to the high-risk factor. Methods Interventional prospective study non-randomized controlled. Results 124 high-risk infants were follow-up until 2 years of age. The rate of detection and diagnosis of children s psychomotor disorders were as follows personal-social 52.4 fine motor-adaptive 46 language 61.2 and gross motor 83.9 . Until 24 months of age the highest rate of children with developmental delays was language 29.8 followed by fine motor adaptive 16 9 gross motor 16.1 and personal-social 15.3 . The results of follow-up and intervention until the 2 years of age normal 67.7 suspected 12.1 growth retardation 20.2 . The factors that increased the delay rate and suspected psychomotor retardation at 2 years of age in children are low birth weight for gestational age delivery room resuscitation with ambu endotracheal intubation chest compressions and brain abnormalities in imaging diagnosis. Conclusion High-risk infant follow-up programs increase the rates of early detection and reduce the rates of psychomotor development disorders of high-risk infants in the first 2 years of life.
