The present investigation was conducted in Bharatpur Region of Rajasthan state, India during the years 2014-15, 16-17. Bharatpur Region was purposively selected for the present investigation due to the following reasons: Rajasthan is rank first amongst all the states of India in terms of both area and production of rapeseeds-mustard. Rajasthan state comprises of tenth regions. In Rajasthan, the rapeseeds and mustard crop is most popular oilseeds crops cultivated in Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karouli, Sawai-madhopur, Sriganganagar, Jhunjhunu and Sikar Districts. In this state, its grown on area of 25,32,330 hectares with an annual production of 32,57,987 tonnes and productivity of 1287 kg/ha. in the years 2015-16. Rapeseed-mustard is the most important oilseeds crops grown in rabi season in Bharatpur Region of Rajasthan. Bharatpur Region occupies first rank in area, production and productivity of rapeseed and mustard crop amongst the oilseeds crops in tenth regions of Rajasthan. It‟s mostly grown in five selected Districts of Bharatpur Division of Rajasthan. This region has covered 7,49,597 hectares of land. Whereas, an annual production of rapeseed and mustard crop is 10,07,502 tonnes which is very high 1344 kg/ha. as compared to average national productivity in years 2015-16.
