Experiments were conducted to characterize the briquetting technology for better utilization of agricultural, forestry and municipal wastes. Honey-comb briquettes were made by using char produced from three different biomasses (i) Rice husk (ii) Banmara and (iii) Paper with two different binding materials viz. clay and cow dung (20%, 30%, 40% and 50% by weight) and was tested for strength, durability and combustion properties. | Effect of biomass type and proportion of binding material on strength and burning quality of honey-comb briquette
