The aims of the criteria used in the checklists are to optimise the comfort and productivity of office workers and to minimise their risk of suffering musculoskeletal disorders. Since they are usually selected and purchased separately, there are separate checklists for each type of furniture or equipment. However, it is important that each item be considered in the context of the whole workstation.
