Michael et al. (2003) conducted a study to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, effectiveness, and cost of conducting practice based, small-group CME learning by videoconference and reported that the videoconferencing format was well accepted by learners and the facilitator, and there was evidence that it led to knowledge gain and change to practice.
