Step 1 Firstly select an image you wish to draw from, either a different atmosphere it represents i.e happy, romantic, scary or sad and how you want to create the portrait: landscape or portrait. I decided to draw an landscape piece and have a romantic setting, and an image reference from “North and South” and used pencil. Step 2 Then I draw the outline and composition of the two faces. I started to draw the hand and worked my way to the left side of the paper.
