Sesame an erect hardy plant requires a suitable nutrient management practices in the field which has the interference in achieving the potential yield. This study aims with the objective to study the effect of nutrient on growth, yield and oil quality. The field experiment was carried out at Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai in the statistical design of FRBD with two factors each having four treatments and replicated thrice. And it results increased growth parameters and yield were in supplementation of 125% RDF and split application of nitrogen and potassium as 50% at basal, 25% at 15 DAS, 25% at 30 DAS. Thus optimum fertilizer nutrient level for the maximum yield and income of the sesame producers. |
