Rice recombinant inbred lines (RILs) of Japonica x Indica cross were grown in irrigated conditions for identification of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for yield associated traits. One hundred twenty one RIL lines were evaluated in the field environment. A total of one hundred twenty two SSR markers were used for polymorphism out of forty markers that showed parental polymorphism. Forty SSR markers were used to construct the genetic linkage map. In total, nine QTLs were identified for yield attributing traits. |
