This paper discusses a framework for project selection decision analysis utilizing a Special Purpose Simulation (SPS) tool developed by Hajjar and AbouRizk (2000). The decision framework presented in this paper allows an organization the ability to quickly and effectively graphically model the independent economic variables and influences in the form of an influence diagram. The SPS tool is tailored to project selection and re-selection analysis considering statistical decision uncertainties using Monte-Carlo analysis. |
