Design methodology approach- The target samples were drawn from Saudi Arabian bank branch managers. A questionnaire survey was used and a total of 258 valid questionnaires were collected. Finding- The study provides strong evidence that performance excellence can be significantly and positively affected by organizational cultural values and employees engagement. Practical implications- The study provides managers with an understanding of the effect of values and engagement level on performance excellence. Originality value- The study reveals that organizational cultural values is a guide for personnel roles and bank behaviors steering thoughts and efforts toward achieving performance excellence. Additionally the findings represent a strong tool for banks to use in identifying performance excellence and reinforcing their .
