The increasing resistance to many antimicrobial agents is seen in Staphylococcus aureus in all healthcare facilities. The commonest antibiotic for the treatment of the Methicillin and multi drug resistant Staphylococcal infections is clindamycin. Emergence of these resistances in Staphylococcus aureus has resulted in failure of clindamycin therapy.
