A field experiment was conducted at Vegetable Research Farm, College of Horticulture, Mandsaur (MP) during rabi season of 2014-15 to investigate the influence of irrigation regimes and varieties on growth, yield and quality of onion. The treatments comprised of three levels of irrigation (1.0, 0.75 and 0.50 IW: CPE ratio) and three different varieties (NHRDF Red-1, NHRDF Red-3, Agrifound Light Red). The experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications. The irrigation level I1 (IW:CPE=1.0) was found better for all growth attributes like plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of plant, dry weight of plant, leaf area. | Effect of irrigation regimes and varieties on growth bulb yield and quality of onion Allium cepa L.
