In the present study isolation of phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria was carried out from rhizosphere soil sample of sugarcane plants. A total of 22 bacterial isolates were obtained which were subjected to primary screening and secondary screening. On the basis of secondary screening two isolates viz. SCRU2 and SDRB4 were selected and conditions for maximum phosphate solubilization were optimized. The best suitable conditions were as follows: carbon source-glucose, nitrogen source- ammonium nitrate, pH-7 and incubation period- 96 hours. The isolates were then tested morphologically and biochemically to partially characterize them and they showed similarity with the genera Bacillus (SCRU2) and Pseudomonas (SDRB4). | Nội dung Text In vitro phosphate solubilization by sugarcane Saccharum officinarum rhizosphere bacteria
