Present pilot study was the first attempt to estimate the prevalence of antibodies against Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) in the goat population of Odisha. A total of 22 serum samples were collected from goats in and around Bhubaneswar, Odisha and subjected to indirect ELISA by indigenous ELISA (i_ELISA) kit for the detection of antibodies against MAP in the Microbiology Laboratory, Animal Health Division, CIRG, Makhdoom.
