The field experiment was conducted to study the “Effect of potassium and sulphur on nutrient uptake, yield and quality of safflower in Vertisol at Collage of Agriculture Farm, Nagpur during rabi season of 2014-2015. Twelve treatment combinations were studies in FRBD with three replication, which comprises four levels of potassium (0, 10, 20 and 30 kg ha-1 ) and three levels of sulphur (10, 20 and 30 kg ha-1 ). The significant increase in seed and straw yield of safflower (15.02 and 36.06 q ha-1 , respectively) were recorded due to application of potassium at 30 kg ha-1 , whereas, significantly higher seed and straw yield of safflower (14.65 and 35.16 q ha-1 , respectively) were recorded due to application of sulphur at 30 kg ha-1. | Effect of potassium and sulphur on nutrient uptake, yield and quality of safflower in Vertisol
