Mushroom is a cash crop grown worldwide on small as well as commercial scale for domestic consumption and export. It is a rich source of proteins, minerals and vitamins with low calorie value with no cholesterol. It is well known alternate source of good quality protein which has higher concentration of amino acid viz., tryptophan and lysine in comparison to vegetable protein.
