Chhattisgarh state is considered as one of the centers of origin and evolution of rice and is blessed with enormous funds of rice variability. Scented rice constitutes a special group of rice and the cultivation of scented rice varieties is one of the oldest practices. Looking to the changing consumer preferences, the demand of the scented rice is increasing day by day.
