As part of the world’s commitment towards the right to development, peace and security, gender equality, eradication of multi-dimensional poverty and sustainable human development, the GoN endorsed the Millennium Declaration in September 2000. In order to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the GoN has incorporated the MDGs into the strategic framework of the country’s Tenth Plan/Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (2002/03-2006/07). This section attempts to provide a snapshot of Nepal’s achievement towards meeting its targets in relation to the MDGs and the SLTHP. The CERHR is a publicly accessible resource for information about adverse reproductive and or developmental health effects associated with exposure to environmental and or occupational chemicals. The CERHR is located at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences NIEHS of the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Michael Shelby is the The CERHR broadly solicits nominations of chemicals for evaluation from the public and private sectors. The CERHR follows a formal process for review and evaluation of nominated chemicals that includes multiple opportunities for public comment.
