Drawing can begin while final testing is taking place but assurances must be made that no changes or additional work is done that is not reflected accurately in the drawings. Floor plans furniture plans or T drawings usually are used as the basis for as-built drawings. The contractor is not required to redraw the building plans for the as-built drawings.
