TAILIEUCHUNG - Synthesis and study on metallic corrosion inhibition of some -aminoketones from benzylidene-r-anilines

Some compounds of -aminoketone type from benzylidene-(R)-anilines were synthesized by reaction between benzylideneanilines and methylketones (acetophenone, acetone) in the presence of hydrochloric acid as catalyst in the ethanol medium. The structure of obtained -aminoketones have been confirmed by using spectroscopic methods (IR-, 1 H- and 13 C-NMR, mass spectra). I - INTRODUCTION p-Aminoketones are the organic compounds which molecules contain the -NH- and C O linkage groups in each other P-positions. These compounds are known in 60 s years of previous century but nowadays there are not many works which deeply study on their structures and properties 1 3 - 7 . In order to have a part in these studies in this article some P-aminoketones from benzylidene-R-anilines have been synthesized and their metallic corrosion inhibition properties on aluminum copper and CT-3 steel have been investigated. II - EXPERIMENTAL IR-spectra were recorded on NICOLET-760 Spectrometer in form of mixing with KBr and using reflex-measure method at the PetrolChemical Center Hanoi University of Science VNU . The mass spectra were recorded on HP5989B MS Spectrometer at Lab of Structural Analysis-Institute of Chemistry-Academy of Natural Science and Technology . The metallic corrosion inhibition properties have been determined using the methods described in the articles 7 . 1.
