Asylum law has been enriched in the last few years by a number of mea- sures of the European Community that address the legal relation between per- sons in need of protection and the Member States. These measures make up the Common European Asylum System – a body of law that covers all aspects of asylum law: qualification for protection, procedures for qualification, allo- cation, and secondary rights.
