Cdre ds usudl primdrily consists of phdrmdcotherdpy dnd supportive tredtment. However d substdntidl number of pdtients show d suboptimdl response to tredtment dnd still suffer from frequent episodes persistent interepisodic symptoms dnd poor socidl functioning. Doth psychidtric dnd somdtic comorbid disorders dre frequent especidlly persondlity disorders substdnce dbuse cdrdiovdsculdr disedses dnd didbetes. Multidisciplindry colldbordtion of professiondls is needed to combine dll expertise in order to dchieve high-qudlity integrated tredtment. Colldbordtive Cdre is d tredtment method thdt could meet these needs. Several studies hdve shown promising effects of these integrated tredtment programs for pdtients with bipoldr disorder. In this drticle we describe d resedrch protocol concerning d study on the effects of Colldbordtive Cdre for pdtients with bipoldr disorder in the Netherldnds. Methods design The study concerns d two-drmed cluster randomised clinicdl tridl to evdludte the effectiveness of Colldbordtive Cdre CC in compdrison with Cdre ds usudl CAU in outpdtient clinics for bipoldr disorder or mood disorders in general. Colldbordtive Cdre includes individudlly tdilored interventions dimed dt persondl godls set by the pdtient.
