Eject the floppy disk from your floppy drive. 2. Press any key on your keyboard to restart your computer. Software Installation Goes Horribly Wrong Once in a while installing a new program can wreak havoc with your entire computer causing it to freeze crash or not operate normally. If so do the following 1. Uninstall the software For Windows XP Home Pro and Windows 2000 a. Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of Windows. b. Click the Control Panel. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon. d. Select the software and click the Remove or Change Remove button see Figure 15-7 .
