TAILIEUCHUNG - Using well-being technology in monitoring elderly people - a new service concept

The specific objective was to take the principles of the Eatwell plate (FSA 2007), which was designed to illustrate the balance of food and drinks that should be consumed for a healthy diet, and develop a ‘Livewell’ plate. The Livewell plate would be designed not only to achieve the dietary recommendations for health but also meet the GHGE targets. In the short term, not only does the diet need to meet both these requirements but any future diet also needs to be acceptable to the UK consumer if we are realistically to expect people to change their current diet.
