Then enter 30 in the Steps text box to make the transition occur in 30 steps. More steps make the transition longer and smoother. 12 Choose File Save to save the page. Now you ll add an action to the Time Track for the floating box with the poem in it. 13 Use the scroll buttons at the bottom of the DHTML Timeline Editor to scroll to frame 50 of the animation track. 14 In track 2 of the DHTML Timeline Editor select the keyframe at frame 50. The floating box now displays the poem as well as the title over it. You ll add an action so that instead of becoming visible suddenly the poem will gradually appear line by line from top to bottom. 15 Ctrl-click Windows or Command-click Mac OS in the Actions track in the DHTML Timeline Editor above the keyframe at frame 50. 16 From the Action menu in the Action Inspector choose Multimedia Wipe Transition. Then enter 15 in the Steps text box to make the transition occur slowly. 19 Choose File Save to save the page. 20 Click the Show in Browser button on the GoLive toolbar to preview the actions that you ve added to the animated floating boxes. Note how the title now appears more gradually wiping in from left to right. The poem now wipes in gradually from top to bottom. Your preferred browser must support DHTML Netscape Communicator or Microsoft Internet Explorer for example. 21 When you are finished close your browser.
