Overview Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network DWDM-PON is a general purpose and extremely efficient future-proof optical transport technology for use in access and metro transport networks. It enables highly efficient use of the outside fiber plant by providing point-to-point optical connectivity to multiple remote locations through a single feeder fiber.
