The macrofungi specimens were collected from different localities of the Bozkir (Konya) district in 2000-2001, particularly during autumn and spring. Introduction While much research has been done on macrofungi studies on Turkish macrofungi flora are still incomplete. The Bozkir district was chosen as the research area for this study because its macrofungi have not been investigated. Plant distributions and field features in Bozkir are very suitable for macrofungi growth. The field study was chiefly carried out in the autumn and spring. The Bozkir district is 1489 km2 Figure 1 . The region is surrounded by umra and Akõren in the north Hadim and Antalya in the south Guneysinir in the east and Antalya and Ahirli in the west. The climate of Bozkir is a humid and semi-humid Mediterranean type. Materials and Methods The materials for this study were collected during field trips in the Bozkir district Figure 1 in 2000-2001. The morphological and ecological characteristics of the macrofungi were recorded and they were photographed in their natural habitats. Specimens were then taken to the .
